Miniature or Mini Belt
Conveyors

Mini Belt conveyors for where
space is tight
Our miniature belt
conveyor systems are versatile and extremely compact. Mini
belt conveyors are used for small parts transport in
automated machines with little conveyor space. These very
small conveyors have either integral DC motors inside the
body of the conveyor, or small external DC motors, usually
at the drive end. They are used for transporting mainly
small, light parts. On the models where the motor is
integrated into the conveyor belt body, there is no
underslung or otherwise visible motor. This has obvious
advantages such as space saving and the fact
that it can fit into designs and existing
machinery with little need to redesign or move
other components. Their speed and weigh capacity id
however a little more limited than the versions with
external DC motors.

Most of the microbelt
conveyors have the internal DC motor using a bevelled gearbox
to take power to the driven roller.
Transformers and controllers are
available for variable speed and also for use with AC
supply.
These small conveyors have the benefit of
very low vibration in operation.
Maximum miniature belt conveyor load 10kg.
(Possibly higher with special build, please ask)
These standard miniature belt conveyors
are based on aluminium profiles with t-slots for easy mounting
and positioning. Miniature
conveyor belt lengths range from 200mm to
1600mm (Other lengths sometimes possible on
request)

40X160mm section with 150mm wide belt
External DC drive belt conveyors

Automation
supplies also offer a range of small conveyors with external DC
motors. This generally means more flexibility in speed and
weight capacity because the motors are not encased in the
conveyor body. The available widths possible to
manufacture are also more varied.
These small
conveyors use 22mm and 42mm dia. rollers and direct
drives, centre drives and end drives with gearing are
available.
The
narrowest belts available are 15mm on a 20mm wide aluminium
profile with 22mm rollers. The widest standard belt is 115mm
on a 120mm wide aluminium profile with 42mm dia.
rollers.
The range
of lengths available are from the smallest at 150mm long, up to
2500mm. These lengths are different depending on the type of
conveyor and the job it's performing.
Of course,
advice and estimates for all these conveyors is but a phone
call or e-mail away.
